When creating a Sim with the Jealous trait, think about how the Sim will be in relationships with other Sims. The Sim will get upset if they don’t have a significant other.

Skill Building
Sims who have the Jealous trait are able to build all skills faster when they are around their Significant other since the Confidence mood increases all skill building rates. Sims with this trait will have greater success with building social skills.
The downside is this trait have more opportunities to get into a negative mood. The negative mood will decrease skill building efforts.
Jealous Trait Description
The official description from the trait states:
These Sims get Jealous more easily than other Sims. They gain a boost of Confidence from being around their significant other, but get Tense if they haven’t seen them recently.
When you first perform an action with a Sim with the trait, you get a notification that more insight on the trait. It reads:
[Sim’s Name] is a Jealous Sim. Jealous Sims gain a boost of confidence when near their Significant other but can also get uncomfortable when they are not around them.
The description says the Sim gets an uncomfortable Moodlet but the Sim actually gets a tense Moodlet when the is is not around their Significant other.

Sims with this trait get a +1 confident Moodlet from being around Sims they have the following relationship status with:

- Promised (teen)
- Engaged
- Boyfriend/Girlfriend

Sims with the Jealous trait receive one new social. These Sims don’t receive any special interactions.
